Chablis Terroir de Courgis Piuze 2018 (750ML)

89-90+ Points, John Gilman, View From the Cellar: "I always think of the Terroir de Courgis bottling from Monsieur Piuze as like a baby Fourchaume, as the underlying minerality here resembles that premier cru in profile more than it does any of its AC siblings in the domaine's lineup. The 2018 is very good, offering up a nose of apple, tangerine, white flowers, citrus zest and that almost "woodsy" soil signature. On the palate the wine is deep and much more closed than these other ACs, with a good core, bright acids and a long, but still quite adolescent finish. I suspect that this wine will be even better down the road than it is showing today, as it is a bit cranky at the present time, but has the depth and balance to catch up with the other villages bottlings here with a bit of bottle age. 2022-2035." 12/19
