Reviews

James Suckling

91 Points, James Suckling: "To the west of Sebillon. It has a more mineral and lemon-citrus focus. Cooler and more restrained. Lots of tension. Mattered in stainless. One for the purists! Drink now. Value." 08/18

Burghound

"Notes of mineral reduction, citrus and white peach precede exceptionally rich and lush flavors that possess outstanding mid-palate concentration along with solid salinity on the complex and persistent finish. This is very good stuff for its level and worth considering." 10/18

John Gilman

90+ Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar: "The Plateau de la Cornasse bottling is new for the 2017 vintage, with these vines also located out on the western end of the Chablis AOC in the commune of Beine. The wine is fermented and raised entirely in stainless steel tanks and offers up a superb nose of pear, pink grapefruit, chalky minerality, apple blossoms and beeswax. On the palate the wine is crisp, fullbodied, focused and beautifully mineral-driven in personality, with a fine core, excellent cut and grip and a long, zesty and well-balanced finish. This has a fine girdle of acidity to carry it a bit further in the cellar than the very good Vallée Sébillon. 2019-2040"
