93 Points, Stephan Tanzer, Vinous: "Pale, bright lemon-yellow. Captivating aromas of pineapple, grilled almond, coconut, iodine and flint. Concentrated, chewy and uncompromisingly dry on entry, then turns a bit silkier in the middle, offering savory flavors of lemon drop, minerals, menthol, mint and hazelnut. Quite smooth in texture for such a powerful grand cru but still youthfully tight. The very long, subtle, slowly mounting finish saturates the palate with dusty extract. This remarkably tactile wine boasts outstanding potential." 8/17
91-94 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Somewhat curiously given that most of this is from Vaudésir, the nose is markedly less expressive though with noticeably more Chablis character present on the green and yellow fruit and floral-scented aromas. Moreover the refined mouth feel of the relatively powerful medium weight flavors is noticeably tighter with plenty of punch that carries over to the beautifully long finish that really fans out as it sits on the plate. This will require a few years of bottle age to be at its best." 10/16
93 Points, Decanter: "The Long Depaquit monopole of La Moutonne covers 2.24ha of Vaudésir, plus a sliver of Preuses. It has produced a luxurious grand cru in 2015, with taut apple and lemon layered with cool cream and juicy hazels. It's sumptuous yet delicate at this stage, and promising much more with some years in the cellar. Drinking window 2019 - 2028." 6/18
96 Points, Tim Atkin, MW: "Richer, broader and denser than the 2014, which was one of the whites of the vintage, this so-called "eighth Grand Cru" (a blend of mostly Vaudésir with a little Preuses) is more Côte d'Or like in 2015, with toasty oak and more texture. It's only on the nish that the salinity kicks in. 2018-24"
