90 Points, Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator: "A taut, lemon-infused white, with supporting flavors of white peach, apple and quinine, this is racy and focused, with a long aftertaste redolent of citrus and mineral. A relatively lean style for the vintage. Drink now through 2024. 422 cases made, 110 cases imported."

93 Points, John Gilman, View From the Cellar: "The 2018 Bougros chez Piuze is also an excellent wine, but it is far more closed at the present time than the Blanchots and will demand some cellaring before it starts to stir. The nose delivers a mix of apple, pear, chalky soil tones, beeswax and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with lovely focus and grip, bright acids and a long, adolescent and nascently complex finish. I may be underrating this just a touch, but after the expressiveness of the Blanchots, this wine has a hard time keeping pace today. 2025-2065." 12/19
