The wine is polished and glossy with lively aromas of wild cherry, forest floor, licorice and pressed violets or lavender. You might also pick up faint tones of potting soil and savory spice, but it all comes in careful moderation. This wine ages in 20-hectoliter oak casks for 30 months. Tassi's Brunello maintains a medium-weight mouthfeel, however the natural freshness and integrated tannins give the wine a much larger footprint on all the senses.” 1/20
