The quality of the fruit is evident and the bouquet opens to dark cherry, pressed rose, cola, balsam herb and spicy tobacco. Those aromas faithfully underline the best qualities to be found in aged Sangiovese. At the back, the wine shows firm, but finely textured tannins and a bright vein of crisp acidity.
