93 Points, Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate: "The late harvest 2008 Mascadello di Montalcino Vendemmia Tardiva Botrys (in 375-milliliter bottles) is a blend of Moscato, Malvasia di Candia and Sauvignon Blanc. Of the four Moscadellos I tasted this year (from various vintages and producers), this expression from Mastrojanni delivers the most focused intensity. There's a lot of power and character in the bouquet, with aromas of candied fruit, honey and brown sugar. Those aromas are delivered with brilliant sharpness. The wine ages in barrique and tonneaux for two years. A precious 1,300 bottles were made." 1/19
