90 Points, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Pinot Noir Sunnyside Vineyard is medium ruby-purple colored with a nose of black cherry, blackberry and fresh blueberries with notions of pulverized stone, charcuterie and green peppercorn. Light to medium-bodied, it has good concentration of blue and black fruits in the mouth with floral accents and notions of smoked meat. It's framed by firm, chewy tannins and just enough acidity to lift the peppery finish. 333 cases produced." 11/18

An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red fruits, cherry liqueur, candied flowers, incense and spicecake, and a vibrant mineral overtone gains power as the wine stretches out. It instantly impresses as it opens with a beautiful aromatic range of blood orange, peat moss guava all wrapped in bing cherries. The mouthfeel is seductive as the wine shows a similarly striking range on the palate. Black fruits, red fruits, citrus rind and earthy tones all marvelously weave together and combine with stunning tension and minerality.
