94 Points, Patricio Tapia Descorchados: "The Las Hormigas Reserve comes from vineyards rich in calcareous soils in Altamira (40% of the volume) and Gualtallary (60% of the volume) and shows that texture, that grip that comes from calcareous soils, especially when it comes to malbec at the foot of the Andes in the Uco Valley. Aged in foudres for 18 months and another year in bottles, it shows lots of fruity notes and flavors of black cherries, but it also delivers mineral and earthy notes in a tense body with very firm and piercing tannins. This wine is dry in the sense that it has no sweetness, which helps when considering it with food." 2022
