“Established in 1953, the Azienda Agricola Molino is located near the ancient abbey of S. Martino di Marcenasco and includes one of the most famous crus of the Langhe, “Vigna Conca”, among its vineyards. The estate is run since 1982, year of the death of the founder Giuseppe, by his son Mauro, an oenologist certified at the well known Oenology Institute of Alba. Mauro, due to the experience acquired in various estates in northern Italy, has given a big impulse towards the production of high quality wines.” - Winery
The 2007, 2008, and 2009 have been some of the most consumer-friendly Barolo vintages we’ve ever seen. All of them are beautifully structured and highly approachable right now, and Mauro Molino succeeded with every single one.
This longtime favorite of Zachys is showcasing its full range of wines, from value reds to its Barolo Crus. All of them are beautifully made, thanks to a decades-long tradition of diligent winemaking, and all are available at fantastic prices. Mauro’s children, Matteo and Martina, are proud to continue the family tradition, and Martina will be in the store pouring her family’s wines. Take a drive and see why we love the wines of Mauro Molino!
