The BIG Flat $15/$20 BBQ Sale Is On! 50+ Wines With Discounts Up To 57%
In reading the Dining In section of the 5/15 of The New York Times, journalist Eric Asimov reminded me that Summer is coming in his column, "Turn a Colorblind Eye to Your Spring Wine." In speaking of the transitional change of seasons he referenced the "sweet spot' in value wines….
"…I often make the case that the great intersection between price and quality occurs in the range of $15 to $25 a bottle. Obviously, it’s possible to find a great value for $10 a bottle, but those wines are few and the odds of striking gold go up exponentially at a slightly higher price. In the range of $15 to $20, many bottles not only offer great pleasure simply because they are delicious, they also have something to say about where they came from and the people who made them. These wines appeal to the mind and heart as well as to the taste buds…." Eric Asimov.
After reading this, I quickly looked at the calendar and with Memorial Day NEXT WEEKEND, we thought what better way to kick off the opportunity to load up for the weekend than to FORCE 50+ selections into the $15/$20 category with discounts up to 57% OFF?!
So, through Monday, May 20th I have carefully selected some great selections of IN STOCK wines and put them out at flat pricing of $15 or $20/Bottle. This offer will run as a first-come first-served promo and these are one-time only prices. We will not be able to re-order many of the wines at these prices.
It's the perfect time to load up as there is still plenty of time before next weekend. If you are around this weekend and can come by the store to "Try before you buy" we have two great tastings on tap.
All my best,
