Richter's Zeppelin Takes Flight!
92-point "Awesome Buy" White
It's one thing when a major authority on wine writes an enthusiastic review. It's another thing entirely when you get to witness that enthusiasm first-hand.
James Suckling stopped by Zachys for the latest installment of his "Wine Challenge" series, in which he blind-tastes through multiple categories of wine. His first video featured Germany and Austria, and what impressed him most was this Riesling from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany. In his own words:
"...focused pinpointed palate...tropical fruits, apricots, tangerines, minerals...freshness, acidity, tiny bit of residual sugar...I like the tension in the wine and its focus. I'm 92/93 on this...I'll go with 92...it's a beautiful wine, fantastic....great wine..."
The reveal is definitely our favorite part:
"...Richter!...and that's his regular Riesling? $13.99? Whoa...that's a great buy, an awesome buy..."

It's no surprise that "The Zeppelin" has become a favorite of Zachys staff. Richter has been producing fantastic Riesling for a long time, and we're glad to see them get proper recognition for their fine work. Grab some of this wine while it's still available, because with this score at this price, it a surefire bet to sell out quickly.
What impressed Mr. Suckling is exactly what impressed us...this is a fantastic wine for the money. This Zeppelin is ready to soar, so hop on and enjoy the ride!
