David Ramey is an iconic winemaker of California wines. The man has that touch, from Chardonnay to Cabernet Sauvignon, David Ramey is one of the finest winemakers in Napa and Sonoma. Atypical when you think of it. Normally winemakers are very adept at either the big reds or the more elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but rarely both ends of the spectrum. Ramey is the exception that does everything well, much like the team at Peter Michael.

Luckily for us, the price point of the Ramey wines over the years have not taken the price jumps that Peter Michael and others have. The Ramey Chardonnays, despite their constant rave reviews and high scores, have remained at more obtainable prices.
