Hot Off The Press: Near Perfect Scores in California from Wine Advocate!
Yesterday the Wine Advocate revealed the December issue. Man was it a huge one!!!
From California to the Northern Rhone and South Africa and beyond. This issue covered a lot of territory and was loaded with really big reviews. Just alone in the Northern Rhone section Robert Parker handed out 17 - 100 point scores!
For California, Antonio Galloni focused in on Napa Valley reviewing 2009, 2010 and even some 2011 wines. The meat of the coverage is the tremendous 2010 vintage where there were too many 95+ wines to count! The 2010 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon vintage is something we have to look forward to over the next year as the wines are just starting to be released and we have a few that already here or arriving in the next few weeks
In addition to the tremendous 2010 vintage, the 2009 Napa Cabs that Antonio Galloni reviewed are truly the best of the best. In fact, many of these wines did not have final reviews yet, they only had barrel tasting notes. So, with this issue we’ve also gotten a great look at the last few 2009s to be released and these wines are beauties.
Just check out all the big scoring 2009s and 2010s that we can offer right now!
