This Has Top 100 Written All Over It.
On October 24th, Wine Spectator published the below review in the Wine Spectator Insider and listed this wine as a HOT WINE of the issue.
Extended Tirage Willamette Valley 2002
96 points | $70 | 1013 cases made | Sparkling
The definition of finesse, with a succulent, complex mouthful of lemon peel, oatmeal and subtle pear and apple flavors that soar through the elegant finish. The fine bead creates an almost creamy feel. Has freshness and a sense of majesty. Drink now. From Oregon.—H.S.
Today, Wine Spectator published the Wine Spectator Advance for the December 31st Issue. The first wine of the Advance and listed as HIGHLY RECOMMENDED is the Argyle Extended Tirage 2002!
Now in doing the quick research today, we also noticed that this is the highest rating ever for the Argyle Extended Tirage in the Wine Spectator at 96 points. Plus the 1999 (95WS), 1998 (95WS) and 1997 (94WS) vintages of this wine were all in the Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the Year!
That leads us to believe this wine has Top 100 written all over it, once again. Not to mention it is one great bottle of sparkling wine.
This is arriving just after Thanksgiving in time for the December Holidays and New Year's Eve. However, we have been informed that the supply is very limited once again this year much like the 2000 (95WS) vintage. So you have to act fast before it is too late.
