We’re popping the corks on an indulgent line up of Champagnes and sparkling wines including the 97 point Wine Advocate rated Louis Roederer Cristal 2004! Let the kids go holiday shopping in the village and treat yourself to an afternoon of bubbles.
Louis Roederer the world-renowned champagne house not only produces some of the finest champagnes in the world, but also produce sparkling wines from their California home, Roederer Estate. These sparkling wines are produced in the champagne method and are dead ringers for the Louis Roederer champagne house style. Look for incredibly focused effervescence, signature notes of hazelnut and spice combined with the elegance synonymous with the Roederer name.
Scharffenberger Cellars is giving Roederer a run for their money, also producing champagne-method sparkling wines from California. Tex Sawyer, winemaker is known for producing rich and complex sparkling wines with round, lengthy finishes. Always rounding out the top of every domestic sparkling wine list and perennially receiving 90+ scores from Wine & Spirits Magazine, Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator, Scharffenberger Cellars is a fantastic Champagne alternative for entertaining this year.
