Burgundy Star Rising: Domaine Beaumont
Serendipitously we were introduced to Domaine Beaumont on a buying trip about 2 years ago, and boy am I happy we were. Since our initial introduction to Domaine Beaumont has been one of our leading in-store Burgundy producers, and I think it's time to take this in-store secret public.
Domaine Beaumont is located in two of the most famous villages of the Cote de Nuits, Morey St. Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. Under the direction of 5th generation winemaker & owner, Thierry Beaumont, we have seen this relatively unknown producer pick up a major following. Thierry and his team hand harvest their 100% estate owned fruit and focus on sustainable farming practices, letting the vine and terroir speak for themselves, producing rich and soulful Grand Cru and Premier Cru classified wines.
Domaine Beaumont has been standing at a precipice for the past decade waiting to jump off, and the 2008 and 2009 vintages are the perfect platform vintages. Discover what the Sonoma Wine Journal has named as wines that are "Fleshy and exotic, (Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2009)" or "The most exciting Charmes-Chambertin I've had in years (Charmes Chambertin 2008)".
I beg the question where else can you find 95pt Grand Cru Burgundy for under $150?? As the holiday season is ramping up, why not let Domaine Beaumont Grand Cru and Premier Cru be the centerpiece wine for your next gathering of friends and family.
To place your Domaine Beaumont order today, please contact our Customer Service deparment at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 800.723.024. Quantites on the 2008 vintage are limited, so I recommend acting fast.
