Robert Parker Personally Reviews at 94pts!
In the last issue of the Wine Advocate (issue 202, August 2012), Robert Parker once again personally reviews a selection of wines from Spain. With the focus on wines that retail for less than $25 per bottle, Mr. Parker was seeking out tremendous values that really deliver for the price.
From this issue here are the two wines that really caught our attention. The Vizcarra Ramos at 93 points and only $16.95 per bottle and the Baron de Magan 2007 at 94 points and only $19.95 per bottle!
Two wines that really have caught the eye of Mr. Parker in this last group of tastings. The Vizcarra Ramos we know well and have carried previous vintages at Zachys for years. The Baron de Magana is somewhat new to us, but we have been able to lock in a very good amount of this beauty for considerably less than the listed $25 retail price. Both wines will be here by the end of the year, but we expect these gems of insane values to be spoken for long before they actually arrive!
With stellar reviews like these by Robert Parker himself and with prices at least $5 below the suggested retail prices…this is a jump fast offer!
