Good Morning Bordeaux Lovers!
We have just landed a new container from Bordeaux. This shipment is full of some amazing wines from the 2009 vintage as well as some exceptional values.
We are rolling back the clocks to the 2001 vintage to bring you a perfectly aged Bordeaux that is still under $18 per bottle!
The wine is the exceptional value Chateau Lanessan in Haut Medoc. The 2001 vintage is a solid wine from Lanessan. One that Master of Wine and leading wine critic Jancis Robinson of London has rated 16.5 out of 20. Plus Robert Parker has consistently called Lanessan an "overachiever."
The 2001 Lanessan is a great drinking bottle of Bordeaux and we jumped at the chance to grab some of this when we tasted it earlier this year when we were in Bordeaux tasting the 2011 barrel samples.
Our shipment has just arrived and we didn't want to waste any time in getting this offer out to you.
