I can't begin to tell you how TRULY IMPRESSED I was with Restaurant 42 the first time my wife and I went there a few weeks ago. The view from the 42nd floor of the Ritz Tower is breathtaking... All the way to Manhattan - Across the Long Island Sound - Up to the Tappan Zee Bridge...and beyond! I could not stop saying...WOW WOW WOW!!! Combine that with great food at reasonable prices I have decided to make it my mission to get area residents to the top floor and break some early misconceptions that this is a "high priced/special event only" restaurant. That is why we have created an UNDENIABLE evening at UNBEATABLE prices!

The Zachys Buying Department is made up of five of the most knowledgeable and diverse wine professionals I know; and I thought it was high time that they showed us more than just their buying skills. I'm looking for their pairing skills and you, our loyal Zachys customers will decided.
Dinner will be prepared in the beautiful Restaurant 42 overlooking all of Westchester. The menu will be five courses designed by Chef Anthony Goncalves to put my buyers to the test. Each buyer is responsible for selecting one wine of their choice (that they purchased) to accompany a dish. At the end of the evening, you will decided what pairing worked best with each course and which buyer reigned supreme.
Not that this isn't interesting enough but here is a quick little run down on the buyers collectively.
• Two men, three women.
• Over 50 years of combined wine experience.
• Four former New York City Sommeliers.
• One professionally trained chef.
• Two married to professional chefs.
• One kid, who worked in a kitchen in Italy, that I've got my money on.
