New York, February 16, 2011—Zachys Wine Auctions returned to New York for the fourth annual La Paulée Auction, for the first time expanded to include selections from regions beyond Burgundy.  The 929 auction lots sold for $2,721,956 against a presale estimate of $1,691,650 – 2,589,100.  100% of the lots on offer were sold to a crowd that filled the room to enjoy dozens of bottles brought as an unofficial warmup for the Paulée.
