Shipping Policy

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine.

By placing your order you have represented to Zachys that you are at least 21. All alcoholic beverages that we ship on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age; this also includes items shipped out of the United States.

Important Notice
Due to federal and state regulations, all wine shipments must be received by an adult 21 years of age or older. An adult must be physically present to sign for the wine delivery. Therefore we recommend that you ship to a business address. Federal regulations also make it illegal to ship wine to post office boxes. We cannot schedule shipments for a specific time during the day.

Please Note - The time it takes to pull, assemble and process a typical order is approximately 3-5 business days prior to shipping. If your order is "Time Sensitive", please enter a note in "Special Instructions" upon submission of your order or contact us 1-800-723-0241. WEATHER ALERT.   

Please be advised, we do not ship if the temperature is above 80 degrees or below 21 degrees. Go to www.weather.com to determine if your area is safe to ship. 

We offer five shipping options:
- Ground Service - approximately 2-5 business days in transit
- 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
- Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit
- Refrigerated Truck - Please inquire for transit times
- Local Delivery (Westchester County & Manhattan only)

*Third party carriers will make three delivery attempts. If your shipment is returned to Zachys, an additional shipping charge may be applicable to re-ship your order.* 

1.5% of the total purchase price will automatically be added to your order to cover any breakage or loss that may occur. In the case that you receive damaged merchandise, you must inform Zachys of any broken or damaged bottles within two days of delivery. A call tag will be issued to pick this up at a chosen location and once the merchandise is returned to Zachys, a new shipment will be sent out. If you would like to decline this coverage please uncheck the acceptance box on the shipping form. By waiving the guarantee you relinquish Zachys of any and all responsibility of breakage or loss that may occur to your order. You may elect to have the original wood case shipped (if applicable) by noting this in "Special Instructions" upon submission of your order. This is a supplemental charge of $10 per case to ship via Ground service.
